Jut&Jul is a 12 weeks long collaboration of fashion designers, photographers and graphic designers researching the influences of context to personal identity. Newly immigrated to Berlin, the skin-colored clothes of Jut&Jul functioned as a canvas for new influences and inspiration. The accumulation of these influences - images, writing, photography - were used to both research and communicate their evolving identity. The logo-system adapts anything in the context of Jut&Jul. The labelling-system for the clothes adapts everything that Jut&Jul encountered creating an accumulative list of inspiration. This way, we created recognisable, yet flexible visual language and brand.
